About

Onslow Fibrecrafts Guild

We are a pretty eclectic group of fibre-crafters from begginers to advanced.

Some of us knit, sew, crochet, felt, tat, embroider, quilt, weave, spin, braid, dye and much more. Most of us do a few of these and some specialise.

We work mostly with wool but dabble in flax, fabrics, silks and other fibres.

We love to learn new skills and share our knowledge with each other.  We have a workshop most months and also outings, show and tell and lots of fun.

The guild also belongs to Creative Fibre Wellington.

We meet on the second and fourth Tuesday February to November – usually in the Trust Room at the Johnsonville Community Centre from 9.30-11.30am

We also have some informal evening get togethers on alternate Thursday nights’s at Frances’s home in Newlands.
